Our client is a leading professional body which works to provide it's members, non-members, and external partners with a broad portfolio of certificates and learning programmes on a number of subject areas. They are currently partnered with a well-known global brand, who are seeking a very experienced Trainer to lead a half day course on Business Case Appraisals.
The programme will be for senior finance professionals and will centre on HM Treasury Standards, the 5 case model and spending reviews. Overall, the aim of the course will be to provide the senior staff members with an improved business case quality for spending review bids. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering training to the public sector, with a particular focus on interactive training styles and practical examples, as well as the ability to create and utilise slide decks, trainer notes, and handouts. Aside from this, the trainer will be a Mastery of Better Business Case methodology and will have the expertise to deliver high quality training on this subject area.
Desirable experience will include any prior design and delivery of training to civil servants, familiarity with spending review cycles, and knowledge of Green Book guidelines.
Required experience for this role is:
- Public Sector expertise
- Excellent training capabilities, particularly to senior professionals, utilising interactive styles, practical examples, slide deck creation and handouts
- Experience training civil servants (desired)
- Familiarity with Spending Review cycles (desired)
- Knowledge of Green Book guidelines (desired)
The course itself will be for half a day, but the contract will be for a number of days. The location of the training delivery is yet to be fully confirmed, but the successful post holder will receive a competitive daily rate.
