Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Trainer to develop, implement, and oversee training programs for our care staff. The successful candidate will ensure that all employees are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional care to our clients. The Trainer will also be responsible for continuous professional development and keeping abreast of best practices in the domiciliary care sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for new and existing staff.
- Conduct training sessions on various aspects of care, including health and safety, personal care, medication administration, and dementia care.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments.
- Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide support and mentorship to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with management to identify training needs and develop relevant programs.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in domiciliary care and incorporate best practices into training materials.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Trainer, preferably in the health care or domiciliary care sector.
- Strong knowledge of care practices, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire staff.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Valid UK driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
Desirable:
- Relevant qualifications in health and social care or training and development.
- Experience working with elderly clients or individuals with dementia.

Pay: £22,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
