Prodrive Advanced Technology is where we combine our motorsport ethos with free-thinking to deliver complex engineering designs and specialist manufacturing programmes to the automotive, aerospace, marine, defence and more recently, clean energy sectors.
Our current portfolio includes a diverse range of projects, including novel suspension systems for military application, innovative aircraft seating systems, a ‘last mile’ 18 tonne electric delivery truck and the design and delivery of a new hydraulic control system for a hypercar. Our portfolio covers engineering design solution projects that range in size and scope.
We are looking for two Apprentices to come and join our Technical Workshop team in Advanced Technology, where you will learn from the best technicians in the industry and work on a variety of builds across aerospace, automotive, marine and defense.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the department with diverse project assembly tasks, developing your skills on live projects.
- Perform practical tasks competently, meeting set production timelines as you develop your expertise.
- Conduct testing on assembled components, ensuring they meet required standards.
- Interpret technical drawings and follow established procedures to complete tasks accurately.
Essential Qualifications
- 5 GCSE’s or equivalent grade A* - C or 4 – 9 including English Language, Mathematics, Science or any STEM subject (grade 4-9)
- Proactive, eager to learn, and willing to engage in both academic studies and practical work.
- No prior professional experience required, but a strong interest in mechanical engineering or related fields is essential.
