Functional Skills English Tutor Position
We are currently looking for a skilled educator to join our team as a Functional Skills English Tutor at HMP Hull. As a key member of our education team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality learner-focused education to meet contractual requirements and standards.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons that cater to diverse learning needs, focusing on academic success and personal growth.
- Maintain accurate records and reports to track learner progress, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans that meet the needs of learners.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A teaching qualification or subject specialist qualification at Level 4 (Level 5 - new standards) with a commitment to obtaining the relevant outstanding Level 4 (Level 5 - new standards) qualification within a specified time scale.
- Hold at least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy.
- Demonstrate a track record of effective teaching in subject specialism.

Salary Information
The salary for this role is £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience, and is based at HMP Hull in East Yorkshire, UK.
