Salary - £13,312
Hours - Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Holiday - 25 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays), plus 2 days over the Christmas/New Year period set by the company, plus where your birthday falls on a working day, an additional day for this too.
About the Payroll Administrator Apprentice role

We have an exciting role for a Payroll Administrator Apprentice to join TC Kent in our Rochester office to start as soon as possible.
A fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to start your career in finance, joining an apprenticeship scheme, you will be working towards a Payroll Administrator Apprenticeship (level 3) and gaining valuable on-the-job experience with a highly respected accountancy firm.
You will join a dynamic accounts team with a high quality client base and rapidly gain responsibility whilst at the same time completing your apprenticeship qualification with us.
Key responsibilities of the Payroll Administrator Apprentice rolewill include:
- completion of the payroll process for a portfolio of clients
- providing great customer service to your client portfolio
- organising workload to ensure timely and accurate payroll service
- preparing monthly reports and payslips
- other payroll ad-hoc duties

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- strong GCSE results in both Maths and English, grade 4 or above
- A levels (C and above) or equivalent
- great communication and customer service skills
- organisation
- great attention to detail
- basic Excel skills is advantageous
- you need to have a current right to work in the UK
