Technical Trainer x2 – Scotland/North + UK Wide Locations (Hybrid) - Up to 65k + Company Car

The Operations team maintain, repair and upgrade 7,666km of high-pressure pipe, 23 compressor stations, 504 above-ground installations, and 8 connected distribution networks through a highly skilled team of over 600 technicians and engineers across Great Britain. Working around the clock to maintain and enhance the infrastructure that powers homes, business and industries, guaranteeing a steady and secure energy supply.

As the Technical Trainer, you will ensure that the support for the learning environment is in place, taking responsibility for the oversight of facilities, tools, and equipment.
This role is responsible for developing and delivering technical training relevant to the subject area and business requirements.
You will review training courses and content and support with rebranding and updating to meet current legislation and policies and procedures.
You will support the technical training team with an ad hoc task, ensuring strong teamwork and collaboration throughout.
What we are looking for
To be successful in this role you will come from an engineering related industry and have experience and knowledge of safety policies, procedures, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication skills are key, as you will be responsible for delivering regular site safety inductions across the business and liaising with subject matter experts to develop technical training, material on a regular basis.
Operating in an agile environment will be second nature to you, with the ability to adapt quickly to industry regulations. Familiarity with HRMS and Learning Management Systems such as SAP SuccessFactors is desirable.
Tenacity, a drive for success, and a focus on the value you bring to the table are essential qualities.
An ideal qualification for this role would be a training certification, although is not mandatory.
The remit of one of the role extends across the North and Scotland and with the second based Nationwide UK Location, both requiring regular site visits with occasional overnight stays. Therefore, a Full UK Driving Licence is required for this job.
