About the Role
Base Location: Thatcham, Portsmouth or New Forest
Salary: £46,626 - £54,154 + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Are you a skilled Streetworks (NRSWA) and NPORS Mobile Plant Trainer and Assessor with a passion for sharing your knowledge to help others grow? We are seeking an engaging and motivated professional who can connect with and inspire our team members. You will deliver high-quality, effective training that is inclusive and tailored to different learning styles. You’ll be encouraged and supported to embrace new technologies and innovative training methods. The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Facilitating training sessions and conducting assessments to ensure SSE staff possess the technical knowledge and skills needed to operate safely in challenging environments.
- Developing training content and sessions that align with our business needs and comply with internal and external regulations and best practices.
- Ensuring all training materials are up to date with current rules and procedures.
- Providing expert advice and guidance on the implementation of industry standards and regulations.
- Engaging with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to foster collaboration and enhance training effectiveness.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Proven experience of Streetworks and Mobile Plant training.
- Strong operational background with sufficient vocational experience working on the highway, ideally in the energy or utilities sector.
- A teaching qualification such as Level 3 Education and Training or equivalent would be desirable.
- An assessor qualification would be desirable.
