About the role
We are seeking applications for up to three Teaching & Scholarship Lecturers in Biomedical Sciences and Preclinical disciplines as outlined below. You should be able to undertake the full range of teaching and administrative activities in at least one module from list A and one from list B below, in addition to contributing to the different year 3 project modules. Applicants should also be able to develop plans and execute scholarship projects aligned with teaching and learning.

The joint programme is a highly regarded and successful programme based in Nanchang, China that started in ** Teaching and assessments are delivered in person in Nanchang, China as QM staff travel out to Nanchang for multiple teaching and assessment visits across the academic year. However, staff are based within the School of Biological and Behavioural Sciences at Mile End when not on a teaching visit in China.
About You
We are looking to recruit highly collegiate individuals to join an interactive interdisciplinary team working together to support and encourage student learning and development. You will have a passion for your chosen academic disciplines but should also have the appropriate subject knowledge and ability to teach and integrate knowledge across the range of subjects on the Biomedical Sciences undergraduate curriculum. Underpinning our teaching is the development of critical thinking skills in our students to enable our qualified graduates to be well versed in evidence-based medicine in later practice and research. Therefore, we expect the successful candidate will have an excellent academic background with a relevant PhD in the Life or Biomedical Sciences and/ or equivalent professional qualification and experience.

Joint Programme staff interact extensively with one another both in Nanchang and Mile End in person.
