Impact Futures and The Childcare Company have an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to join our Residential Childcare team as a hybrid-based Tutor to deliver an outstanding teaching and learning experience for learners, in line with our commercial qualifications.
This is a hybrid role: there is an expectation to visit learners occasionally for progress reviews and additional tutoring (national travel)
Salary up to £37k (based on experience and qualifications) plus a generous KPIs based bonus scheme on top, paid quarterly.
The Role:
As a Residential Childcare Development Coach (Diploma Only) you will deliver teaching, coaching and assessment up to level 5, taking ownership of each learner to ensure funding and compliance is adhered to. Providing information, advice and guidance to learners is a key element of the role, supporting each learner throughout their learning journey.
Internal and external stakeholder engagement will support learner progress and timely achievement.
The role will involve:
- Lead a caseload of learners and support them to achieve their accredited qualification journey, as well as any additional requirements
- Regularly assess work and provide constructive feedback including SPAG and update the E- Portfolio system (Aptem)
- Develop and promote excellent stakeholder relationships, internal and external, including colleagues, learners and employers
- Take responsibility to ensure safeguarding, PREVENT, British Values, Health, Safety and Wellbeing and equality, diversity and inclusion are promoted and monitored continually in all areas of the job role

About you:
Essential:
- Hold an Assessing qualification (CAVA/D23/A1)
- Hold a Teaching qualification (PTLLS, AET, or equivalent)
- Hold a minimum qualification of Level 5 in Residential Childcare/CYP
- Hold GCSE grade C/4 or above in Maths & English or equivalent
- Have a minimum of 2 years of managerial/team leader experience in a residential home
- Hold a recognised Level 5 or above in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare
