The Operations Officer is an administrative role that is responsible for assisting with Apprentice submission reviews, assigning work to End-Point Assessors and IQAs, issuing Apprentice results, and reviewing Reasonable Adjustment and Special Consideration requests for assessments. The role also includes certificate production and office support duties.
This role requires someone who thrives on following set processes and being organised, with exceptional attention to detail. Accuracy and a drive for perfection are essential qualities for anyone undertaking this role. This individual will be given the opportunity to work as part of a forward-thinking team, as well as gain invaluable hands-on experience working in a leading Awarding and End-Point Assessment Organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Review evidence submissions of Apprentices progressing through Gateway to confirm End-Point Assessment readiness in line with regulatory requirements.
- Assign workloads to End-Point Assessors and IQAs.
- Issue Apprentice results, following quality control processes, including proofreading documents.
- Act as a liaison and quality control administrator that is focused on ensuring exam bookings are recorded and data is reviewed and maintained.
- Reviewing reasonable adjustment and special consideration requests
- Maintaining spreadsheet records of assessment data for reporting and planning purposes
- Printing regulated and endorsed certificates
- Printing and scanning exam documents
- Managing and Tracking the postal of exams being sent out and returned from Centres/ Schools
- Reviewing assessment windows and coordinating resits.
Other Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain an understanding of TQUK internal processes and the wider educational landscape
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of TQUK products and services
- Ad-hoc admin duties, as required.
Key Requirements
- Minimum grade C GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
- Competent with Microsoft Excel, Excel Online and Google Sheets
- Excellent phone manner and customer service skills.
