About
I am well experienced as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Wolverhampton with an academic background in Construction Project Management.
During my time as a Visiting Lecturer, I delivered 20 hours of weekly lectures across levels 3-7, covering operational construction project management, risk management, sustainability, and research methods, advanced project planning and control, and Contemporay issues.
My approach to teaching emphasises interactive learning and practical application, which has proven effective in maintaining high student engagement and achievement.
My MSc in Construction Project Management, combined with my PhD research in Sustainability Architecture, provides me with extensive subject knowledge in construction. I've developed and delivered course materials, supervised student projects, and maintained currency with industry developments through my professional certifications in Carbon Assessment and EDGE Expert Training.
I have demonstrated strong leadership and administrative capabilities through my role as Union Chairman, where I managed stakeholder relationships and contributed to policy development. This experience would be valuable in participating in performance management programmes and meeting objectives for student outcomes, satisfaction, and retention.
I am comfortable with both face-to-face and online teaching methods, and I maintain strong professional relationships with industry contacts that enrich the learning experience.
I am excited about the prospect of contributing to education programs and would welcome the opportunity to discuss my skills and experience.
Thank you for considering my application.
Kind regards,
Chieloka
