Core Skills
KS3 and Adult college (FE knowledge), I have Literacy in Functional Skill Level 2 and Numeracy in Functional Skills Level 2. ICT Skill -I have level 1 on words, excel, PowerPoint, online and virtual working experience to teach and plan lesson, using the website and VEL as learning resources for learners. Competencies – I have often develop on my competencies. I can cope very well when facing complex challenges, learner’s behaviour management. Able to solve problems when arising and I critical thinking when dealing with situations with the classroom or learning environment, in order not to be bias when making decisions or to know what is best for the situation. I am very creativity, I have created an activity whereby learners were able to get involved and participated, they were able to contribute their own idea or personal experienced. I can communicate with learners, staffs and the parents effectively. I have a good communication skill both in verbal and non-verbal and online.

Collaboration- I have been collaborating with people in every organisations that I have worked in, working together to complete a task, project or research in order to achieve our goals. I have been working close effectively in partnership with parent, career or guardian and head of department/ teachers. I have been building a good relationship and good rapport with learner, to have confidence in me. I have worked with MTC Learning Centre as a volunteer in ESOL English classroom of a member of 20. As well as, various schools, adult colleges, academies, secondary and their Sixth forms. Regarding all my experiences, my character qualities have changed within those environments. I do work on my own initiative when task is given and as well asked for colleagues or line manage for help if needed. I am very flexible and easy to adapt (adaptability). For curiosity, I am careful, diligent curious. If you employ me, I have a strong desire to know and learn new thing or eager and interested whenever I am guide or put through on what to learn. I am a fast learner with full of spirit of enquiry.

Leadership skill – I have an excellent leadership skill – I am happy to lead a group of people and learners when teaching, discussing, given instruction. I am able control situation when is out of hands. Including time management, given direction, supervision in a project. Persistence - I am very persistence especially when coming to assignments or project deadlines or goals despite any difficulties, like to stay power, focused and determined

My name is Abidemi Kolawole. I’m excited about the ESOL /Functional Skills Lecturer teaching position that recently became available at Boltjobs.com, as your institution’s Adult Skill faculty has an outstanding reputation.
I’m a great fit for the position because I have both the training and experience in different secondary and colleges to do extremely well in the role. I aim to be an English teacher within the next five years, and I believe this job can help me achieve that ambition. I have 10 months of training and teaching experience working as a trainee English ESOL tutor / Functional Skill English teacher. I hold a bachelor’s degree in education and Community Development, and I’ve completed my teacher training (Diploma in Education and Training Level 5). In my previous teaching and practice role as a trainee, I used various assessments to assess the learners’ such as Initial in form of Assessment for learning (AfL) and Assessment of Learning (AoL) , as well as, diagnostic assessment to help me carried out an evaluation or finding the starting points for my learners and their needs to ascertain the learners’ prior skills, knowledge, understanding, strengths and areas for development in a particular subject area and identified any gaps.
