Overview of Role:
As the Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and expanding our reach within the hospitality industry. Your primary focus will be on identifying new business opportunities, nurturing business partner relationships, and promoting our apprenticeship training programs. You will be instrumental in shaping our business development strategies to achieve targets and enhance our market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the hospitality sector, including hotels, restaurants, resorts, and other relevant establishments.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including decision-makers in prospective business partner organisations.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective strategies and campaigns to promote our apprenticeship training programs.
- Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Present our training solutions to potential clients, addressing their needs and tailoring offerings to meet their requirements.
- Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline, and performance against targets. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance our visibility and reputation.
- Work closely with the operations team and account manager to ensure smooth implementation and delivery of training programs to clients
- Continuously evaluate and improve our business development processes and strategies to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

Personal requirements of the role
- Ability to travel to London regularly (at least twice a week averagely)
- Fantastic communication skills
- Experience in a sales role with proven track record of new business development and revenue generation
- Excellent IT skills and organisational skills to match
- Problem solving skills

- Passionate about hospitality and learning & development.
