The Short Course Unit is seeking a curriculum administrator to support their government and privately funded short course provisions, covering a wide range of complex and confidential matters in a rapidly moving environment. Working with the Short Course Unit Curriculum Manager this role will oversee the induction process for new learners, provide curriculum support throughout the short course programme, including distribution of resources and supporting the Employability Lecturer aiding in successful learner outcomes.
- Facilitating the induction process for the short course learners.
- Providing joining instructions to participants at the start of the course, ensuring participants have all programme details as required.
- Inviting potential participants to interview and support sessions e.g. Career sessions, 1:1 technical support, 1:1 lecturer support.
- Handling enquiries by telephone, email and in person, ensuring that responses are dealt with quickly and professionally.
- Distributing resources for the Short Course learners i.e. Lesson Materials, Worksheets, Homework, Lesson Links.
- Creating and documenting learner development plans and their outcomes
- Evidencing and documenting all works completed within the short course skills programme to comply with Ofsted requirements, i.e. self-evaluation forms, learner assessment, learner attendance
- Excellent knowledge of the essentials of effective administration.
- Good verbal and written communication skills; numerate and literate;
- Able to move between different types of data tools and systems to access and use a variety of data, i.e. student attendance records, partner reporting tools, exam data
- Able to manage multiple deadlines with conflicting priorities
- Advanced IT skills, use of Microsoft Teams.
- Ability to plan and manage to work efficiently and deliver to schedule.
- Able to analyse problems, recommend appropriate solutions and take them forward with the support of others.

This is a Full Time Fixed Term position for 6 months.
