KM Recruitment, a UK-wide recruitment agency specialising in Skills and Employability, is looking for an experienced Residential Childcare Assessor/Trainer.
Home-based with frequent travel across East Sussex and Kent.
Salary:£30,000 - £37,000 per annum + Bonus Scheme up to an additional £10,000 OTE (dependent on qualifications and experience)
The ideal candidate will provide top-notch training and assessment services to learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships at Level 4 or Level 5.
Main Tasks:
- Work closely with learners pursuing Residential Childcare Apprenticeships, at Level 4 or Level 5.
- Support learners in achieving Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2.
- Effectively manage the diary to conduct timely reviews and meetings.
- Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners.
- Organise and maintain accurate documentation on learners' progress.
- Offer expert guidance, advice, and motivation to learners.
- Customise delivery to address barriers to learning and meet learners' needs.
Requirements:
- Hold a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQAOR Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above.
- Ideal experience delivering Apprenticeships in Residential Childcare, at Level 4 or Level 5.
- Strong competency at Deputy Manager level or above, within a Residential Childcare setting.
- Level 3 in Residential Childcare as a minimum.
- Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
- Flexible with travel requirements.
