Residential Childcare Assessor / Trainer Role

We are seeking an experienced Residential Childcare Assessor / Trainer to join our team, covering East Sussex and Kent.
Job Title: Residential Childcare Assessor / Trainer
Location: Home / Field-based
Salary: £30,000 - £37,000 + Excellent Bonus Scheme up to an additional £10,000 OTE (Depending on qualifications and experience)
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships, at Level 4 or Level 5 (depending on competency).
- Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2.
- Manage your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.
- Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners.
- Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
- Support, advise, and motivate learners.
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner's needs.
Requirements
- Hold either a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA, or TAQAOR Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above (PTLLS/AET).
- Ideally have experience of delivering Apprenticeships in Residential Childcare, at Level 4 or Level 5.
- Must hold strong competency at Deputy Manager level or above, within a Residential Childcare setting.
- Must hold a Level 3 in Residential Childcare as a minimum.
- Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
- Must be flexible with travel.
