Opportunity
We are seeking to appoint a part time Ultrasound Lecturer on a 12month contractto join our growing Radiography and AHP team at the University of Salford. You will be an experienced HCPC registered radiographer with a broad range of experience, across all clinical areas but with a specific focus in Ultrasound.

You will demonstrate a passion for developing the next generation of sonographers and have experience in delivery high-quality, evidence based care with a comprehensive knowledge of clinical ultrasound education. You will demonstrate excellent communication skills and be a strong team player, dedicated to creating the best possible student experience.
We deliver a range of medical imaging programmes to meet the needs of a diverse group of learners and as such our team works flexibly, including some Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities
The post-holder’s principal role will be to deliver theoretical and practical aspects of the Ultrasound programme.
- Design teaching material and deliver either across a range of modules or within subject area/s
- Mark and assess coursework and examinations and provide feedback to students as part of modular teams
- Act as a personal tutor to a group of students
- Work alongside the radiography team to develop a curriculum that is both contemporary, achievable and empowering for the future workforce
- Support students to develop and refine clinical skills and competencies
