Position: Part-time (22 hours)
Role Type: Fixed-term contract until September 2025
Location: Cambridge (CB4)
Salary: £16,306 to £24,003 pro rata per annum (Full-time equivalent: £27,425 to £40,369)
Responsibilities
- Lead Tutor: Oversee the Introduction to Creative Industries course for students with moderate entry-level learning needs.
- Quality Assurance: Engage in internal quality assurance processes and ensure accredited work is prepared within set deadlines.
- Teaching English and Maths: Deliver English and maths education at Entry and Level 1, preparing students for functional skills qualifications.
- Student Support and Liaison: Conduct regular tutorial meetings and maintain communication with parents, carers, and professionals to ensure effective support and progress tracking.
Requirements
- A relevant teaching qualification, e.g., certificate in education, PGCE, DTLLS, or DET.
- Creative subject or art qualification, drama, music, media diploma, or specific learning difficulties diploma.
- Experience working with students with learning disabilities.
- Proficient in teaching English and maths at Entry and Level 1.
- Familiarity with RARPA processes and EHCP targets.
