Healthcare Assessor/Coach
To deliver a high-quality training program and complete assessments, reviews and completions in a timely manner as set by management, achieving or exceeding the required quality standards. The role requires supporting learners to gain a Diploma and full L3 Apprenticeship standard of Senior Healthcare Support Worker.
This is a temporary, part-time position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit and communicate with learners and line managers for induction, observation, and progression.
- Assess learner work within set timeframes and achieve targets.
- Provide constructive feedback to learners.
- Observe learners against awarding body criteria and give feedback.
- Maintain accurate assessments and ensure verification.
- Carry out reviews with learners and line managers, submitting paperwork on time.
- Liaise with the Programme Manager for monitoring progress.
- Complete visits to other sites when required.
Requirements:
- Proven IAG, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Experience with Ofsted inspection framework.
- Ability to work independently.
- Sector-specific qualification (L3 NVQ/Diploma in Healthcare) with clinical experience.
- Good written skills for capturing feedback and target setting.
- TAQA/A1/D32/33 certifications.
- V1/D34 certification.
- Teaching qualification.
- Knowledge of Apprenticeship standards.
Estimated Salary:
£30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
