We are looking for a Youth Employment Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in careers guidance and employability, with experience of working with vulnerable young people.
This role requires you to work with young people aged 16-17 and up to 24 for those with SEND, helping them to identify and overcome barriers preventing them from entering education, employment, or training.
You will work closely with local opportunity providers and support services to better advise and support young people into employment, education, or training. This role requires you to be able to establish good working relationships with stakeholders and to track the progress of young people through regular contact.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of GCSE English and Maths Grade 4 (previously Grade C) or equivalent.
- A Level 6 qualification in Information, Advice, and Guidance (IAG) or a Level 4 IAG qualification with the willingness to undertake a Level 6 IAG Apprenticeship.
- Significant experience of working with young people, committed to providing excellent guidance and support.
