We are seeking a skilled Technical Instructional Designer to join our team in Wakefield. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to develop their career and work with a dynamic team.
About the Role:
- Develop technical training plans and strategies in conjunction with Learning & Development (L&D).
- Deliver training sessions to ensure consistent learning standards and foster a competent and knowledgeable workforce.
- Audit and review technical training materials to drive evaluation and new equipment and technologies.
- Promote a balanced approach to formal training, coaching, and on-the-job learning to enhance performance.
- Maintain and update training records to highlight opportunities and create plans for closure.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver training programs to meet the needs of our employees.
- Develop and maintain technical training materials, including presentations, handouts, and assessments.
- Audit and review training programs to ensure they are meeting their intended objectives.
- Conduct training needs analysis to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Educational background: Apprenticeship qualified or holds an engineering based NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
- Operational insight: Ability to develop training materials and conduct engaging and effective training sessions.
- Industry experience: Experience in the FMCG/Supply Chain sector, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Technical training expertise: Proven experience in the field of learning and development with examples of delivering training using a variety of methodologies.
- Compliance knowledge: Awareness of Health, Safety, and Environment policies.
- Quality systems understanding: Familiarity with Quality Management Systems.
