**Sports Lecturer Job Opportunity in London**
We are seeking a highly skilled Sports Lecturer to join our team at a fantastic college in Romford. As a Sports Lecturer, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in sports-related courses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Development: Contribute to the planning and preparation of distance learning modules and resources that incorporate various media and technologies.
- Curriculum Decision-Making: Participate in decisions about curriculum, teaching, and assessment strategies.
- Sports Diagnostic Abilities: Possess well-honed sports-related diagnostic abilities.
- Module Maintenance: Contribute to the maintenance of relevant modules, including preparing tutor-marked assignments and examination papers, monitoring of assessment, and membership of Examination and Qualification Boards.
- Programme Contribution: Contribute more broadly to the activities of the programme and school as required.
Requirements:
- Higher Degree or Equivalent Knowledge: Hold a higher degree or equivalent professional knowledge in Sports.
- FE Teaching Experience: Have relevant experience of FE teaching and module design that engages and retains students or the proven potential to effectively contribute to this process.
- Qualification for Teaching: Be qualified for teaching in a Higher Education context.
- Sports Specialism: Possess a sports specialism.
- Enhanced Disclosure: Must have a clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check (for applicants who have never worked in UK) and no question regarding suitability to work with children.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work in the Sports Lecturing field in the Romford area. We offer a competitive salary, which is £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
