Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Children's Nursing
London South Bank University is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Children's Nursing Team as a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer. The successful candidate will have significant experience in children and young people's nursing practice, teaching qualifications, and a passion for inspiring the next generation of Children's Nursing students.
Responsibilities:
- Teach and assess students on various aspects of Children's Nursing, including theory and practice.
- Contribute to curriculum development and review, ensuring it remains relevant and up-to-date.
- Develop and lead innovative teaching methods, promoting independent student learning strategies.
- Mentor and support colleagues in their academic and professional development.
- Participate in research and scholarly activities, progressing career goals through training and projects.
Requirements:
- NMC qualified Children's Nurse with significant experience in children and young people's nursing practice.
- Teaching experience in Higher Education or practice education; teaching qualification desirable at Lecturer level, essential at Senior Lecturer.
- Good honours degree in Children's Nursing and postgraduate degree are essential.
- Able to successfully undertake project management and work collaboratively as a team member to enhance the student journey.

The estimated salary for this role is £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
