Job Description
As a key member of the Leeds City College team, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality science assessments to our apprentices. This includes managing your own caseload, monitoring progress, and providing feedback to employers on the apprentices' performance against the apprenticeship standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the apprenticeship standards, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience of assessing and teaching, training peers, or transferring skills to others is highly desirable.
In return for your expertise, you can expect a competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including generous annual leave entitlement, excellent pension schemes, and access to industry-standard equipment.
What You Will Do
- Deliver high-quality science assessments to our apprentices.
- Manage your own caseload, including arranging site visits and meetings with employers.
- Monitor progress and complete progress reviews.
- Provide feedback to employers on the apprentices' performance against the apprenticeship standards.
