Hours: 9 hours per week over 3 evenings - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (16:30-19:30), 52 weeks per year

Milton Keynes College has a new vacancy for an evening Student Support and Recruitment Worker to join the education team based at HMP Fosse Way. The role involves acting as an ambassador, promoting education, and maximizing student recruitment onto learning programmes while supporting their learning goals within the prison.
Responsibilities include managing administrative processes, data entry, and providing support to students, including facilitating mentor-led study or enrichment groups. The role also involves delivering ICT and paper-based initial assessments and screening assessments, promoting educational benefits, and engaging in student recruitment and programme marketing in collaboration with Serco colleagues and other agencies.

ABOUT HMP FOSSE WAY
HMP Fosse Way is a privately operated Category C super prison holding over 1700 adult male sentenced offenders. It focuses on rehabilitation through accredited intervention programs, vocational training, and education in a pro-social environment.
The prison offers courses in Maths, English, IT, and various vocational skills, with educational sessions held Monday to Friday. Facilities include free parking, proximity to South Wigston Train Station, and amenities like a bistro and gym.
