We're looking for and experienced Sport Coach to help us deliver lunch clubs, breakfast clubs, after school clubs and curriculum work within primary schools in Preston, across the Fylde Coast and the surrounding area. We have a strong reputation and are looking for someone who can deliver outstanding sessions in line with what our schools expect.
To be considered for this role you should have:
- Previous experience as a multi-sport coach or player, with a strong foundation in multiple sports disciplines.
- Ability to deliver curriculum PE lesson in primary schools to all ages.
- Knowledge of fundamental skills and rules in various sports, with the ability to adapt coaching methods accordingly.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with young people, parents, and staff members.
- Enthusiasm for teaching and inspiring young people of different ages and skill levels.
- Strong behaviour management to ensure children learn and make progress.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work with diverse groups of young people and adjust coaching approaches accordingly.
- Relevant coaching certifications and qualifications in one or more sports.
- First Aid (preferred)
- Enhanced DBS check (preferred) / ability to pass Enhanced DBS check (essential)
- Full driving license and vehicle / ability to travel to settings with PR and FY postcodes.
- NGB Level 2 Coaching Qualification
