To support our success, we require an additional committed and professional Clinical Skills Trainer to join the team on a fixed term 10 month contract for 2 days per week ( Monday & Tuesday).
The role involves delivering practical Clinical Skills Training sessions to our NHS Client in the north west, working alongside the trusts internal team . You will need to have a deep understanding and be able to teach the anatomy and physiology related to the vascular system, correct and accurate IV placement (this will be supported by using a manikin ) and common pitfalls related to Venepuncture and IV Cannulation in a clinical environment.
SALARY: £275 per day (inclusive of travel and expenses)
Location : North West England
The successful candidates will have a strong Clinical background, ICU,Vascular Access , Phlebotomy . Ideally you are a Registered Nurse, Midwife, ODP, paramedic .You will also need teaching / supervisory experience (with a teaching and assessing certificate or diploma such as AET / PTLLS Level 3) and experience using a variety of equipment (BD & Monovette Systems)
