As part of the Warsash Maritime School, our Maritime Simulation Suite provides comprehensive hands-on Maritime Simulation courses for maritime professionals, starting from Cadets through to Senior Officers.
Our Maritime Simulation Suite is one-of-a-kind; the largest such facility in UK, and one of the largest in Europe. It hosts training in Bridge Simulation, Engine Room Simulation, Liquid Cargo Transfer Simulation, High Voltage Simulation, Maritime Communication, Dynamic Positioning and much more.
Applications are invited for the position of Lecturer Bridge Simulation to support the development and delivery of Bridge Simulation courses at Solent University. You will have extensive Maritime Simulation teaching experience and teaching skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for student learning are also essential.
Some unsocial hours and UK/international travel may occasionally be required.
Extensive Bridge Simulation teaching experience is essential for this role.
This role is eligible for an additional 10% WMA allowance.
