Salary: £31,719- £35,667 Per Annum Pro Rata

Hours: 22.5 hours per week x 52 weeks per year

About the Role
Working with apprentices in health and social care can be extremely rewarding as you will be supporting candidates to progress their career in this sector. Working within these apprenticeship programmes for the College involves working with a wide range of employers within the NHS and care sector. The Health and Social care sector is a vital one within the local region and the College has exciting plans to develop workforce skills to support the sector in the future
Key Responsibilities
Working as part of a small team and reporting to the Apprenticeship Manager for Health and Science, the successful candidate will:
- Support the ongoing development and delivery of the apprenticeship standards in this area including the level 2 Adult Care and L3 Senior Healthcare standards.
- You will be working with a caseload of apprentices to support their progression and achievement of their qualifications.
- Carrying out assessments and progress reviews within employer settings.
- You will support the area in implementing continuous improvement strategies and measures to meet the demands of employers in providing a high-quality teaching and learning experience
Skills & Knowledge

- A strong background in health and social care and you will need to have experience of working within a care setting.
- A relevant occupational qualification at level 3 or above is also required for this role.
- You will need to hold a TAQA qualification, or equivalent, or be willing to work towards this as part of your role
