As an
Apprentice Associate you will support the apprenticeship function in achieving target apprenticeship starters per year, mitigate levy expired funds/maximise levy spend while driving professional and quality development opportunities for our people by our providers.
You will actively play a role as a national ambassador of apprenticeship development solutions across the organisation reflecting the apprenticeship strategy. This role is also the internal SME, is responsible for the relationship management with the relevant external apprenticeship providers, ensuring compliance with DfE/ESFA, [Ofsted], GDPR, Nuffield Health and any other governing or auditing body regulations, and the collation, analysis and presentation of MI in line with the function’s KPI’s.
As Apprentice Associate, you will;
- Assist the Apprenticeship Lead in promoting apprenticeships as an employee development tool across the business.
- Actias a national ambassador of apprenticeship development solutions, create opportunities to be accessible to a wide audience to raise awareness and share knowledge on apprenticeships at NH.
- Work closely with Regional HR Business Partners to support the direction of travel around workforce planning through apprenticeship recruitment, and workforce development using externally delivered apprenticeships.
- Pro-actively identify apprenticeship opportunities through; personal knowledge of individuals continuing career development through the apprenticeship route, colleague recommendation, site engagement
- Effectively engage and educate NH Senior Leaders, Line Managers and Employees, both centrally and at sites, on Apprenticeships through virtual and in person opportunities i.e. roadshows, huddles, HOD meetings etc. . Ensuring an accurate perception of the NH Apprenticeship Programme, and content which offers guidance, support and structure to those involved.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing external apprenticeship providers to ensure good flow of communication, understanding of our business needs so that relevant and level appropriate programmes are sourced and selected.
To be successful in the Apprentice Associate Role…
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of Department For Education and ESFA Levy Funding rules and regulations and the wider apprenticeship landscape
- Excellent communications skills and experience in internal/external stakeholder management
- Proficient in 'multi-project' management with an excellent eye for detail
- Accomplished skills in system management (CRM/PowerBI) and highly proficient in Microsoft suite (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills with an ability to support large 'learner caseloads'
