We are seeking registered nurses, preferably with knowledge of paediatric care, to work on a self-employed basis to train our foster carers and support workers in the Midlands and North-East areas.
As an Independent Fostering Agency specialising in caring for children with additional needs and with disabilities, some of our children and young people have medical needs, requiring their foster carers and support workers to have specialist child specific training in skills for medical procedures such as:
- Tracheostomy Care
- Peg feedings: JEJ and NG Tube
- Suction
- Oxygen Awareness
- BiPAP
- Buccal
- Epilepsy
Training is delivered one to one, often at the foster carer home, or in small groups.
You must be resident in the UK and have the right to work in the UK.
Rate of pay is £30 per hour with mileage payment of 0.45p per mile.
