This is an exciting opportunity to join the newly formed training Academy within the business - PfP Thrive - and become an Apprenticeship Tutor. As part of your role, you will lead on the design, delivery, and assessment of level 2 Customer Service and level 3 Leadership apprenticeship programmes – but with a focus on these roles in a leisure environment and so you should have significant experience in the leisure sector.
You'll create an engaging curriculum and deliver inspiring training sessions, together with providing feedback and coaching opportunities to groups of learners who wish to pursue a career of excellence in customer services and the housing sector.
You'll be assessing learners, helping them to build a portfolio of evidence for them to succeed at their end point assessment.
You'll be part of a team of tutors, who under the Head of Apprenticeship Academy, will continually develop and grow, taking part in standardisation activities, CPD programmes and quality assurance to deliver first class training in line with the Ofsted framework.

Essential criteria:
- Significant experience in delivering excellent customer service and a background in the leisure sector in order to deliver apprenticeships at level 2 in Customer Services and at Level 3 in Leadership within a leisure centre environment
- Ideally, will have (or be willing to work towards) Level 3 Award in Teaching and Assessing
- Strong training, facilitation and coaching skills
More About You
We are looking for someone who has extensive experience in the leisure industry, preferably at a management level, enabling you to deliver Level 2 Customer Service and Levels 3 Team Leading apprenticeships in a leisure setting. This means you'll have strong training, facilitation, and coaching skills – Ideally, you hold, or are willing to work towards, a Level 3 Award in Teaching and Assessing.
You'll be highly organised and an adaptable professional with excellent communication and presentation skills – you'll be adept with creating powerpoint slides, writing lesson plans and documenting feedback and coaching activities. Ideally, you'll have some experience with apprenticeship portfolio systems, preferably Aptem. You'll have excellent interpersonal skills, are known for getting the best out of people and helping them to realise their potential. And you'll need to be able to effectively manage and prioritise tasks.
