The Business Engagement was established to bring together our student and graduate employability offer, within an externally facing unit to ensure a strategically impactful, employer informed careers education provision. The service encompasses both Beckett Careers and Degree Apprenticeships team and provides external organisations a wealth of opportunities to engage with our student and graduate talent. A key component of Beckett Careers, is to offer students who study with us, a diverse range of employer led placements and experiential learning opportunities.
This is an exciting opportunity to manage our School focused Experiential Learning team to enable the provision of high-quality support and ensure timely and quality assured delivery of experiential learning/ placement opportunities and education across all disciplines. The successful candidate will support our academic schools to meet their employability objectives through the co-ordination and management of placement years, modular experiential learning activities and use a data informed approach to lead a team to meet internal and external KPIs.
A key component of this role is stakeholder management, with placement providers and other external organisations providing high quality experiential learning opportunities for students alongside internal professional service staff and academic schools.
