Job role: Learning Specialist (Technology Trainer) – Law firm
Location: London (includes hybrid-working)
Remuneration: £55,000 - £65,000 + Full Benefits
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced training professional with a passion for delivering engaging and effective learning programs in a corporate or legal environment.
This is a great opportunity to join a prestigious international law firm, providing high-quality training across its European offices.
The Role:
As a Learning Specialist, you will be a key member of the firm’s Professional Development team, responsible for delivering technical training to attorneys and staff, including new hire onboarding. You will collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to develop training materials and ensure seamless technology adoption across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver in-person and virtual training on core technology applications used in the legal sector.
- Lead New Hire Onboarding sessions for European offices, ensuring smooth integration.
- Serve as a training lead for projects, coordinating efforts across teams.
- Build strong relationships with regional stakeholders to understand and address training needs.
- Design and develop engaging learning programs, including course content, assessments, and supporting materials.
- Support software rollouts, including testing, user feedback, and adoption tracking.
- Generate reports and track training attendance in the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Stay up to date with the latest legal tech and training trends.
About You:
- 5+ years of experience in a training environment, preferably within professional services or legal.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office 365, iManage (or similar document management systems), and document production tools such as BigHand Hyperstyles.
- Expertise in instructional design and a proven ability to deliver technical training.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage learners in-person and virtually.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple training programs.
- A Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) qualification is a plus.
