As a Lecturer in Accountancy, you will lead and deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences, ensuring students achieve their full potential. You will be responsible for curriculum development, lesson preparation, and the assessment of student progress, contributing to the overall success of our AAT programmes.
What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions, including formal scheduled teaching, blended learning, and tutorials.
- Develop and prepare learning materials, ensuring they meet curriculum standards and student needs.
- Assess student progress through appropriate methods, providing guidance, coaching, and support.
- Manage administrative tasks related to admissions, timetabling, examinations, and quality assurance.
- Contribute to curriculum development and the enhancement of taught programmes.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders to support student work experience and progression.
- Participate in promotional activities such as Open Days and Information Events.
What We're Looking For
- Relevant Accountancy qualification at Level 3 or above.
- Relevant teaching qualification.
- Minimum Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy.
- Experience in an FE/HE environment and relevant industry experience.
- Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Commitment to quality assurance and continuous improvement.
- Understanding of e-learning methodologies and quality initiatives in Further Education
