Professional Experience:
- Proven experience of online and face-to-face teaching within a Higher Education setting and significant experience of using apps /platforms alongside practical or classroom-based learning.
- Proven experience of working and teaching in a multi-national and multi-cultural environment.
- Experience of inter disciplinary teaching
- Proven experience of working within a team environment, to collaborate with colleagues across curriculum development and delivery, research and external engagement.
- Extensive online and face to face teaching experience in business and business management related modules.
- Subject specific experience in one or more of the following areas:

Job Description
About the Position
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Academic Team at LD Training as a Lecturer. You will be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality lectures, setting and marking assignments, assisting with programme development, and actively participating in professional development activities.
Main duties:
Deliver, support and monitor teaching according to own area of subject specialism and related areas by the provision of lectures, workshops, tutorials and other means of teaching, as appropriate.
Work in line with LDT policy to resolve student problems across relevant modules and programmes, including attendance issues and students failing to submit work etc. Accessing the support of the Senior Lecturer/Programme Manager as appropriate.
Contribute to the enhancement of quality in teaching, the development of academic programmes and teaching practices in conjunction with institutional policies.
Contribute to curriculum development of designated modules across programmes as appropriate.
Contribute to the administration of modules and programmes. Taking an active role in attendance monitoring procedures.

Teach as a member of a teaching team within an established programme of study.
Teach in a variety of settings from small group tutorials to large lecturers, ensuring contents, methods of delivery and learning materials meet the defined learning objectives for individual teaching sessions
Set and mark assignments as well as assessing the work and progress of students by reference to defined criteria and provide constructive feedback to students
Seek ways of improving performance by reflecting on teaching design and delivery and obtaining and analysing feedback.
Teaching and Research:
Undertake teaching as a member of the teaching team in a developing capacity within an established programme of study.
With support from a Senior Lecturer/Programme Manager, engage in the development and innovation of teaching materials, methods and approaches that challenge, foster debate and encourage critical thinking. Reflecting on teaching design, delivery and feedback to engender a process of continuous improvement.
Under the direction of a Senior Lecturer/Programme Manager utilise appropriate assessment instruments and criteria, assess the work and progress of students with reference to appropriate criteria and provide constructive feedback.
Marking & Assessment: Accurately assess and mark students' work in line with academic standards, ensuring consistency and fairness in grading.
Recording of Grades: Maintain accurate records of student assessments and grades using LD Training’s reporting systems, ensuring compliance with data protection policies.
Feedback: Provide timely, constructive, and personalised feedback to students to support their academic development and progression.
Manage own teaching, scholarly and administrative activities and supervise students’ accordingly.
Plan own day to day activity within the framework of the agreed programme
Use teaching resources and facilities as appropriate
Plan and manage own teaching and tutorials
External Engagement:
In conjunction with the Career, Employability and Enterprise team, support the development and organisation of Guest Speaker seminars, visits to businesses and other organisations.

Ensure students have an effective learning experience by providing high quality academic guidance and advice and therefore enhancing their retention, progression and employability.
Professional Development:
Comply with institutional expectations as an individual member of academic staff in relation to their own self-monitoring, continuing professional development and self- regulation.
