Job Summary
The post holder is expected to deliver across a broad range of programmes within Human Resource Management and Business, and will be responsible for the development of contemporary HRM modules and programmes, will demonstrate innovation through the design of the curriculum in collaboration with industry and other external partners, and will work collaboratively, flexibly and collegially within a team. Additionally, the post holder will have practitioner experience in all areas of HRM and will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of how and why HRM is fundamental to building sustainable business success. They will be able to deliver this to a wide range of students through innovative and engaging pedagogical strategies, methods and practices.The post holder will hold a Masters in Human Resource Management, as well as relevant CIPD membership. The post holder will also be committed to further professional and academic development in order to continually improve the curriculum offer. A teaching qualification relevant to Higher Education will be held, or a commitment to achieving one will be required.The commitment to developing innovative teaching practice such as online and blended approaches to learning and engaging with transnational education opportunities is also essential essential. Prior teaching/training experience is required; however relevant contemporary practitioners with a strong desire to develop a teaching career are strongly encouraged to apply, and would be supported in gaining a teaching qualification, if one is not already held.The ability to speak Welsh and offer academic and pastoral support as well as marking and providing feedback in Welsh would be highly valuable, however is not essential for this role.
