An exciting opportunity for a secondment of 12 months, has come up within the Practice Learning Support (PLSU) team. This application is open to HCPC registrants and NMC Registered Nurses or Nursing Associates with at least 1 year's clinical experience and have completed their preceptorship.

To sustain and further drive up the quality of our placement experiences, and to continue to strengthen and provide support to learners by implementing the educational standards and ensuring governance of our emerging workforce, the Practice Learning Support Unit seeks an Interprofessional Apprenticeship Placement Facilitator.

Main duties of the job
The role is about being clinically visible, whilst planning and ensuring processes are followed as per standards for education
The role will require the facilitator to work across all 5 sites collaborating with the PLSU team and Lead and the wider team of learning and education. This role is a great role to step into education and work with our partner placement providers.
There is an expectation that the successful candidate will work multi-professionally, across all divisions and all five sites to support activity when called to do so on a rota system.
It is desired that the candidate will need to have some knowledge and understanding of the educational standards and must hold a Mentor/ Educator/ SSSA qualification.
The candidate will gain experience with planning and a strategic overview of educational standards and the objectives set by NHS England and the wider ICB within the Derbyshire network.
The successful candidate will be working extensively with digital technology and data collection is part of the role. Training will be given for the use of systems.
