TTS is seeking an individual or individuals to join our team of trainers to deliver the COSCA Counselling Skills course and Person-Centred Professional Diploma. The role could suit one person, although a job-share or splitting the role would be considered.
COSCA Counselling Skills Certificate Course – Trainer
Ideally, the individual would:
- Have completed the COSCA Counselling Skills Course
- Be an experienced counsellor
- Be practicing primarily in the Person-Centred Approach with knowledge of other modalities, in particular psychodynamic and CBT
- Have experience of group facilitation and training a group of between 12 – 15 people
- Have an understanding of group dynamics in the training context and experience of managing individual and group processing involved in personal development
- Have experience of assessing and providing feedback for Skills Practice and Assignments
- Be available on Saturday course days (dates can be supplied)
- Be a highly organised individual, able to work independently
TTS Professional Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling (COSCA Validated) - Trainer
Ideally, the individual would:
- Have core training in the Person-Centred Approach
- Experienced an Experiential Person-Centred Counselling Diploma Training course
- Be an experienced counsellor
- Be a qualified supervisor
- Have in-depth knowledge of the Person-Centred Approach, theory and practice
- Be practicing primarily in the Person-Centred Approach
- Have an understanding of group dynamics in the training context and experience of managing individual and group processing involved in personal and professional development
- Have an interest in reviewing written assignments and providing thoughtful, supportive feedback in relation to set criteria
- Attend a co-tutor support meeting following course training days, typically 30mins – 1hr
- Work collaboratively within the training team
- Be a highly organised individual
TTS Professional Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling - Group Supervisor
Ideally, the individual would:
- Be an experienced counsellor
- Be a qualified supervisor
- Have in-depth knowledge of the Person-Centred Approach, theory and practice
- Be practicing primarily in the Person-Centred Approach
- Be able to work with students to apply theory to practice
- Have experience of facilitating a group of around 8 people
- Have an understanding of group dynamics in the training context and experience of managing individual and group processing involved in personal and professional development
- Attend a co-tutor support meeting following Group Supervision on course training days typically 30mins – 1 hr
