NOCN Group is actively seeking an experienced freelance End Point Assessor/IQA to conduct End Point Assessments for the Engineering Maintenance Technician apprenticeship Standard. This is a flexible freelance position that requires travel to various assessment sites.

Hours: Worker Contract, Freelance
Purpose and Objectives:
- Ensure that End Point Assessments are conducted independently and uphold NOCN's quality assurance Standards.
- Conduct assessments following the prescribed assessment instruments as outlined in the End Point Assessment plan.
Key Requirements:
- Possess recent, relevant experience in the occupation or sector at least to occupational level 4, acquired within the last 3 years, or significant experience in the field.
- Maintain and provide evidence of up-to-date knowledge and expertise in the occupation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assess apprentices against the Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours (KSBs) throughout the Multiple Choice Test, Observation with questioning, and the Professional Interview according to the End Point Assessment plan.
- Timely upload of assessment reports in alignment with NOCN's service level agreements.
- Prepare for assessments promptly, identifying gaps in the apprentice's KSBs.
- Establish a strong rapport with apprentices to help them perform at their best during assessments.
- Engage in continual professional development (CPD) to keep knowledge current.
- Represent NOCN professionally during assessments.
- Adhere to GDPR practices, ensuring all data remains secure.
- Moderate the work of other assessors in line with internal quality assurance procedures.
