We currently have an exciting opportunity for a passionate, dedicated and skilled SEND Employability Hub Operational Officer. This is a full time, term time only opportunity.

Duties:
- To develop and deliver a joined up and high performing employability offer for SEND young people which maximizes progressions into sustained employment.
- To develop links and progression pathways for SEND Employability Hub learners into meaningful and sustainable employment opportunities (Apprenticeships, Paid Employment, Supported Internships).
- To work with local feeder school SENCo’s and identify Year 11 potential Hub students and develop transition for those identified.
- To work with the marketing team to promote the Hub with bespoke target audience
- To develop personal progression/learner plan/vocational profiling with accredited employability elements
- To lead on the EHCP annual reviews for Hub students, liaising with colleagues to deliver individual reviews with all hub activities related to in PfA outcomes
Skills/Experience:
- Experience of planning sequential lessons to meet outcome
- Experience of coaching individuals to achieve a goal
- Experience of working with EHCP high needs students
- An innate desire to secure the best possible outcomes for all students, including those with SEND
- Excellent communication and listening skills
Qualifications:
- Maths and English level 2 or above
- Relevant qualifications in any of the following areas: counselling/IAG/mentoring/coaching
