We are seeking to appoint an Associate Lecturer in Social Work/Social Care or Psychology who will be part of the Social Work academic team.
The successful candidate will be an emerging academic and have a background in UK social work with an MSc/MA Social Work and registration with Social Work England or have an MSc/PhD in Psychology with practice experience.
All applicants are required to have academic qualifications at postgraduate masters level or above. Applicants should be able to work collaboratively and have the ability to deliver high quality teaching and facilitation of learning within a HEI environment.
An enhanced DBS check will be required for this post.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and requires a Disclosure and Barring Service certificate. You are therefore required to disclose details of any criminal record. ALL criminal convictions, cautions, reprimands or final warnings, even if they would otherwise be regarded as spent under this Act must be disclosed, as well as any other information that may have a bearing on your suitability for the post, including pending prosecutions.
The University will apply for a DBS certificate before your appointment is confirmed.
