We’re recruiting … National Engineering & Skills Coach

We are looking to welcome an experienced National Engineering & Skills Coach. We’re looking for an experienced individual to provide effective skills coaching and mentoring to our Engineering Apprentices.
You will conduct site visits across our UK Dairies to coach, train and mentor our apprentices through their apprenticeship programme, gateway and successful achievement of the end point assessment. You will support the Early Careers Team on the recruitment of engineering apprentices, being the link between the site engineering teams to our three engineering training partners.
This is a hybrid working model with a minimum of 3 days per week on site (3 days can be spread across multiple site locations).
Your challenge for the National Engineering & Skills Coach: -
•Support the assessment of all our potential engineering apprentices at our engineering apprenticeship assessment days.
•Provide advice, guidance and support on all engineering apprenticeship recruitment. Work closely with our UK Engagement Manager to support the wider recruitment and attraction strategy on engineering apprentice recruitment.
•Support and advise on our engineering apprenticeship inductions.
•Build relationships across the Muller Milk & Ingredients site engineering teams to support the mentors and managers on the development of all engineering apprentices.
•Build a technical training/coaching framework that provides technical and behavioural coaching to all our engineering apprentices aligned to our development framework
•Support the sites in providing engineering training across our engineering apprentice co-hort.
•Be the point of contact to all of our engineering provider assessors, the apprentices and site engineering teams.
•Ensure all engineering apprentices are on track with their programmes throughout their apprenticeship.
•Support and prepare engineering apprentices for their EPA and be advisor for the Early Careers team on our EPA providers for engineering.
•Design and deliver our engineering development days in partnership with the Early Careers team
•Be an expert of knowledge and advice for our L3 Engineering Apprenticeship Programmes
•Build strong partnerships with our providers and assessors to ensure all apprentices are on track, are supported and our providers meet the expectations of their delivery contract.
•Support the Apprenticeship Manager in quality review meetings with our engineering providers.
•Advise and support on our wider strategy on engineering pathways through our apprenticeship provision.
•Deliver the talent/progress reviews to the Early Careers team, sites and senior leaders as per our development framework for all engineering apprentices.
•Report and identify training needs that feed into a training framework for all engineering apprentices.
•Support on engineering pathway training across.
Plus, all other tasks supporting apprentice provision across Müller.
Key skills & experience for the National Engineering Skills Coach: -
•Appropriate Engineering HNC/HND/Degree and/or vocational qualification or equivalent
• Experience in a manufacturing engineering environment
•Strong understanding of apprenticeships, assessing and EPA processes.
•Experience in a technical training/teaching role within engineering.
•Demonstration of experience working with apprentices.
•Strong time management and organisational skills
•Pro-active and uses initiative
•Desirable-Previous experience as an engineering assessor
•Desirable-Coaching qualifications
•Outstanding verbal and written communication skills / excellent interpersonal & coaching skills
•Team player with the ability to build relationships
•This role involves regular travel across the country so must have the ability and desire to travel to our UK sites.
