Who are we looking for? We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Digital Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing Communications team.
In this role, you will primarily support the planning and execution of content for social media platforms, assist with the day-to-day management of our company websites, oversee email marketing campaigns, and work closely with the Marketing Communications Manager to ensure all content aligns with marketing goals.
We are looking for a logical thinker, someone with strong problem-solving abilities and a self-motivated attitude. They will bring a creative mindset and a keen eye for crafting compelling, engaging content, coupled with excellent writing skills. We are seeking a confident communicator who can engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and ensuring seamless collaboration across the organization.
The role requires the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency. Working in the digital marketing sector demands adaptability to evolving trends and emerging technologies.
As part of this role, you will complete the Digital Marketer Level 6 (Integrated Degree). This apprenticeship offers a valuable opportunity to learn, grow, and gain hands-on experience, while developing the skills needed to excel in the marketing industry.To be eligible, candidates typically need to have achieved a grade C or above in English and Maths, along with at least two A-levels or equivalent Level 3 qualifications.Digital Marketing Assistant Responsibilities:- Develop and execute engaging content strategies for multiple social media platforms
- Create and manage content calendars, ensuring timely and consistent posting across channels
- Assist in the planning and implementation of social media campaigns to drive brand awareness and engagement
- Regularly update and maintain the company website, ensuring content is current and aligned with marketing objectives
- Monitor industry trends, track audience engagement, and identify opportunities for growth
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing Communications Manager to support various marketing initiatives and projects
- Analyse social media performance metrics and provide actionable insights through detailed reports
- Work cross-functionally with team members to support and contribute to broader marketing projects
Required Skills & Experience:- Educated to A-level or equivalent
- Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to craft clear, engaging content
- Understanding of social media platforms, trends and best practices
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
- Proficient in using PC or Mac systems, with a solid knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Desirable but not essential: Experience in a Digital Marketing role, or the ability to demonstrate a genuine passion for and personal experience in digital marketing

- Apply Marketing Principle and gaining expertise in the 4Ps (product, price, place, promotion) and learning how to craft successful business and marketing campaigns.
- Create engaging content tailored to different audiences and online platforms, including clear calls-to-action and seamless user journeys.
- Discover effective content marketing by learning how to promote content through the right channels, using media platforms and relationship management tools to maintain brand identity and cultural relevance.
- Use research methodologies, digital tools, and analytics for data driven insights; understand customer behaviors and drive impactful marketing strategies.
- Hone your project management skill by planning, leading, and delivering successful digital marketing campaigns while managing resources and reporting on outcomes.
- Optimize digital marketing plans by managing key channels and refining content strategies.
- Navigate the world of eCommerce. Understand and help develop strategies that strengthen customer relationships and support global business goals.
- Analyze Campaign Performance by using statistical tools to measure campaign success and make data-informed decisions.
- Ensure community engagement through email marketing and social media, fostering meaningful conversations and brand loyalty.
- Data-Led Decision Making: Harness analytical tools to uncover valuable insights from marketing data, helping you optimize strategies and solve complex challenges.
- Contribute to strategic planning by identifying opportunities, adapting to customer needs, and embracing change.
- Business Intelligence – learn to recognize and analyse internal and external factors that influence organizational success and marketing effectiveness.
- Develop your professional communication skills to interpret and communicate digital business requirements with internal teams or external stakeholders.
Duration and Level: This Level 6 apprenticeship will typically last between 3-4 years.
Qualification(s): Bachelor Degree in Digital Marketing.
