Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Bioengineering
Salary:Internationally competitive
Location: Candidates will be based either at the Silwood Park Campus, South Kensington Campus or at the White City Campus, dependent on research area and facility requirements, on a full time, open ended basis.

Due to rapid growth and the strategic importance of the discipline of bioengineering at Imperial, the major new translational White City Campus, the flagship Sir Michael Uren Biomedical Engineering Research Hub and a growing focus on sustainability enabled through facilities at the Silwood Park campus, the Department of Bioengineering wishes to appoint up to three outstanding academics at Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level.This is an open call: we invite applications from candidates across all areas of bioengineering, highlighting those that are synergistic with Imperial research centres in our new translational campus:
- Leverhulme Centre for the Holobiont
- Grantham Institute
- National Phenome Centre
- Dementia Research Institute Care Research & Technology Centre;
- Musculoskeletal Medical Engineering Centre;
- and Imperial-X: Advances in AI and its applications.

- BIOMIMETICS (using the structures and functions of living organisms as models for the design and engineering of materials and machines).
In the most recent national research assessment, REF 2021, 95% of our Department's unit of assessment was judged either world leading or internationally excellent. We are committed to building on this success through the recruitment of talented academic staff.
