Job Role: English Lecturer
Hourly Rate: £35 per hour

About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Lecturer to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. In this role, you will deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons to students, supporting their development in reading, writing, and critical thinking skills, and preparing them for future academic or professional success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching in English, catering to a range of student abilities.
- Plan, prepare, and assess lesson plans, assignments, and exams to support students' academic development.
- Provide academic and pastoral support to students, ensuring they are motivated and engaged in their learning.
- Contribute to curriculum development and review, ensuring the English program meets academic and industry standards.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and success.
Essential Requirements:
- A degree in English, English Literature, or a related field (or equivalent).
- Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd) or a commitment to obtaining one.
- Experience teaching English, preferably within further education.
- Strong knowledge of English language and literature.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
