We have an exciting opportunity for a well organised and self-motivated progress and Learning Tutor based at our Houghall Campus within the Engage 14-16 department (with an expectation that you will be able to work across all 3 sites) on a full time basis.
Main Duties of the Role:
Your role will be to deliver an ambitious curriculum to all. You will work with an assigned tutor group within our Engage 14-16 provision. Progress and Learning Tutors will deliver an Engage Tutorial Programme, PSHE and Employability curriculum. They will also track attendance, monitor behaviour and support individual students by providing support for a range of academic, social and emotional challenges. This role is significant to the progress of the student, during their Key Stage 4 studies, supporting their progression to post 16 education.
Essential Requirement:
- Qualified to a minimum of Level 3.
- GCSE level standard education or equivalent (maths & English).
- Qualified teacher status or willingness to work towards.
