About the role
To assist us in the further development of our vision for teaching and research in pharmacy, medicine, nursing and health and healthcare sciences we are looking to recruit to a fixed term post of Senior Lecturer in Pharmacy Practice, within the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Faculty of Health and Wellbeing.
This role is a fixed term post to cover maternity leave and will support the continual development and delivery of the Sunderland School of Pharmacy undergraduate and postgraduate provision, ensuring excellence in student experience both on campus and off campus.
What you can bring
We are looking for an experienced pharmacist to engage with teaching, reach-out and research programmes in pharmacy practice and health related topics. You should be a UK registered pharmacist with clinical currency and experience of teaching and/or research.
To be considered for this post you must be a registrant of the General Pharmaceutical Council with up-to-date knowledge of contemporary pharmacy practice and current trends in teaching and learning. A teaching qualification, or willingness to undertake one, will be essential.
