We are looking for a dedicated Teaching and Learning Coach to join our team, supporting the professional growth of teaching staff across diverse subject areas.
About the Role:
As a Teaching and Learning Coach, you will take the lead in enhancing teaching and learning practices within the college. Through coaching, training, and collaborative development, you will inspire colleagues to adopt innovative and effective pedagogical strategies that improve the learner experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coaching teaching staff to develop outstanding teaching practices.
- Conducting learning walks, observations, and drop-ins to ensure high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment (TLA).
- Designing and delivering tailored training sessions and CPD activities.
- Supporting the use of digital tools and innovative techniques to improve teaching.
- Working closely with curriculum managers to set ambitious improvement targets.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven track record in effective teaching within an FE/HE setting.
- Strong understanding of current and blended pedagogical practices.
- Experience mentoring or coaching educators with demonstrable results.
- Excellent digital skills, with proficiency in tools like Microsoft Teams and Canvas.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and collaborative working.
