As a
Trainer your goals would be to develop and deliver training for all positions within LTLGS, to implement LTLGS and LHT group training strategies, and to be an integral part of the Training Department.

Tasks
Your main tasks include, among others:
- To develop and deliver Technical, EHS and Compliance training as identified by LTLGS
- To develop and review training plan in line with the company’s strategy to meet the changing needs
- To work with the Training Manager to implement a training plan for the business
- Work with managers and Quality department to define training requirements to fit the examination requirements
- Work with Training Manager and Quality to ensure training aligns with competence requirements and in line with refresher schedules
- Arrange and schedule training with both internal and external trainers
- To comply with the company’s policy and practice requirements
- To work with the Training Manager to ensure effective management of the company’s training budget
- Develop, evaluate and make recommendations on training material and methodology
- Coordinate off-site training activities for employees as and when necessary
- To work with the Training Manager to develop and deliver effective training system for the business
- To deputise for the Training Manager in their absence
Requirements
The ideal
Trainer should meet the following requirements:
- Ideally degree qualified in engineering and/or a business function or experience in similar role coupled with secondary education (A Levels) or BTECH/HNC (Desirable)
- Recognised training qualification (preferred)
- Ideally have an aviation training background (EASA Part145) or health and safety training background
- Good technical knowledge of MRO processes preferred
- Previous experience of delivering training/presentations
- Experience developing training materials, including eLearning resources
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages
- Excellent communications skills
- Confident to be able to deliver training
- Working within an office based environment
- 38 hours per week
- Required to hold nightshift sessions occasionally
- May be required to travel occasionally to LHT Base (Germany) and for workshops or forums within group locations
- Potential for hybrid working dependent on internal training schedule
- Must possess a legal work permit in the UK
